Co-curricular Activities

Established in eastern Bhutan to empower children and youth with disabilities toward independent, confident lives.

Overview

Draktsho’s co-curricular activities play an important role in the holistic development of trainees by nurturing social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Through activities such as dancing, singing, acting, and cultural disciplinary programs, trainees build confidence, self-expression, and teamwork skills while celebrating creativity and culture. Physical fitness is promoted through structured exercise sessions and inclusive sports activities, including participation in Special Olympics and Paralympics programs. These activities encourage healthy lifestyles, resilience, and social inclusion, while providing opportunities for trainees to discover their talents, build friendships, and engage meaningfully with the wider community beyond the classroom.
